Woodford House is in the small hamlet of Woodford, set in a beautiful valley in the Brendon Hills, on the edge of Exmoor National Park. We (Anna and Michael) offer guests an ideal base from which to explore beautiful West Somerset.

Ten minutes after setting out from our lovely Victorian house and garden, you can be beside the sea in the picturesque harbour of Watchet, setting out on a walk in the Quantock hills, visiting historical Dunster and its castle or exploring Exmoor.

Walkers could also try a stretch of the Coleridge Way, the South West Coast Path or the end of the Macmillan Way. Cyclists can enjoy the challenge of 'The Exmoor Beast' or its sister 'Exmoor Beauty Cycle Challenge' and the superfit (not us) could enter the Ironman contest at Wimbleball.
